Zumbrota-Mazeppa is one of 70 teams participating in the Bi-State Classic this Thursday and Friday, which showcases some of the best wrestlers from Minnesota and Wisconsin. Our wrestlers are ready to build on the success from last year (Highest finish for any Minnesota school, 7th place overall, and 3rd in the “AA” tier of teams).

New this year is the women’s only tournament, where we have our first woman’s entrant to the tournament, Kaydance Simota.

Your guide to watching the action remotely:

You need to be familiar with three different websites:

The tournament is split up into 4 sessions. On the bistate website, you will need to go to the appropriate session to view the live streams.

  • Session 1: (Thurs, Dec 29th 9am-5pm)
  • Session 2: (Thurs, Dec 29th 7:15pm-10:15pm)
  • Session 3: (Fri, Dec 30th 9:15am-2:30pm). In addition to the mens matches, this session is when the women’s matches will be wrestled beginning at approximately 10am. These matches will be on the same 10 mats.
  • Session 4: (Fri, Dec 30th 5:30pm-8:30pm)

You can find out what mats the ZM wrestlers are going to be on by going to the appropriate trackwrestling link: (Men or Women). On the left hand side, click on Mat Assignments, then Team Schedule in the main frame, and finally choose Zumbrota-Mazeppa for the team in the drop down menu. Once a wrestler has been assigned a mat (usually will be assigned a mat 2-3 matches before they wrestle), they will be on the list.
