100 TD Night – What to Know and What to Do

Hello ZM Wrestling Families,

We are excited to kick off our 100 Takedowns Fundraiser, which helps support our youth wrestling program throughout the season.

What is the fundraiser?
Each wrestler will collect pledges from family and friends. On Monday, January 12, wrestlers will complete 100 takedowns during regular practice. This is not a public event and does not require parents or sponsors to attend—it will simply be part of practice that day.

Funds raised help cover important program costs such as:

  • Tournament entry fees
  • Transportation/bus trips
  • Wrestling equipment and supplies
  • Additional opportunities for our wrestlers

What do wrestlers and parents need to do?

  1. Collect pledges using the pledge form handed out at practice and sent in email (flat dollar amounts, not per takedown).
  2. Write the wrestler’s name clearly at the top of the form.
  3. Checks should be made payable to Brota Valley Wildcats.
  4. Return completed pledge forms and payments by January 12th.

Prizes!
Wrestlers can earn prizes based on the total amount they raise, including ZM Wrestling gear and apparel.

  • Raise $75: ZM Wrestling Frisbee
  • Raise $125: ZM Wrestling Frisbee + Sport Towel
  • Raise $175: ZM Wrestling Frisbee + Sport Towel + Trucker Hat
  • Raise $250: ZM Wrestling Frisbee + Sport Towel + Trucker Hat + Water Bottle
  • Raise $300+: ZM Wrestling Frisbee + Sport Towel + Trucker Hat + Water Bottle + Hooded Sweatshirt (please remember to list sweatshirt size)
  • Top fundraiser earns $50 cash plus all the prizes above!

Important to know:

  • All wrestlers will complete 100 takedowns at practice on January 12, regardless of how much they raise.
  • This is a fun team challenge and a great way to support the club.

Thank you for helping make this fundraiser a success and for supporting ZM Youth Wrestling. If you have any questions, please reach out to me or one of the coaches.
