Kasson-Mantorville vs ZM Thursday night dual

On Thursday night, ZM took on the #2 AA ranked Kasson-Mantorville Comets. The atmosphere was awesome, as KM looked to avenge their HVL conference loss to ZM last year. ZM started out the night racing to 24-3 lead, but then hit the heart of the KM lineup featuring 3 #1 ranked wresters, a #2, and a #4. When the dust settled, KM took the dual 40-24.

Pictures in this environment were challenging with the spotlight hitting only the wrestling ring, but here is the album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/JVQZ8AGfNM4YA1jJ9

ZM Varsity Rolls over Byron and Albert Lea Thursday Night; Went 2-1 in Bloomington on Saturday

In an electric atmosphere in Mazeppa, ZM hosted Section 1AA foes Byron and Albert Lea. In the opening match, ZM beat Byron 51-20. For the prime time matchup, it looked to be a close one against Albert Lea. In a night of mostly ups and few downs, ZM had everything going for them. In matchups against their highly ranked guys, we fought hard and did not give up many bonus points. When all was said and done, ZM cruised to a 51-15 victory over Albert Lea! What an exciting night.
